Rathinam Technical Campus, Coimbatore, hosted a grand Welcome and Orientation programme for the first year students at its campus in Eachanari. The event was intended to be the first step in the students’ educational and personal journey, and to inspire them to achieve excellence in their education and personal development.
Mr. Madan A. Senthil, Chairman of Rathinam Group of Institutions, Chancellor of Rathinam Global Deemed to be University, presided over the programme. Mrs. Seema Senthil, Director of Rathinam Group of Institutions, Mr. Manickam (Vice Chairman) and Mr. Nagaraj (CBO and In-charge VC) of Rathinam Global Deemed to be University, faculty members and students participated in the event.
Delivering the keynote address, the renowned motivational speaker, Mr. Ramakrishnan urged the students to have a vision in their lives and diligently work towards it. He said that determination and hard work and dedication to learning are the keys to success.
The speakers emphasized the need to build academic learning skills, confidence, communication, and a purpose. Pupils were urged to work to their full potential, make the most of the learning opportunities, campus facilities and extra-curricular activities available to them to benefit them in all areas of development.
Dr. Geetha, Principal of Rathinam Technical Campus, graced the occasion with her presence and extended her good wishes to the new students as they were about to enter into a new phase of their education.
Overall, the programme was a great success, and Mr. Arunkumar, Associate Vice President of Rathinam Technical Campus, gave a vote of thanks acknowledging the presence of the dignitaries, faculty members, parents and students, who had made the event a memorable success.
The orientation programme was an effective source of motivation and enlightenment for first year students and enabled them to get acquainted with the academic scenario and overall vision of holistic education at the institution.
